Since the evolution of of social media , the communication between celebrities and their fans grow more interesting. Fans can now read the minds of their favourite artist through this mediums ( e.g tweeter ,facebook etc ) but with the evolution of instagram, most Nigerian celebrities who could not manage this wonderful social app started loosing their fans . The reason is not far fetched. it is because our celebrities who we hitherto saw as role models or should I say perfect creatures started uploading their negative livestyles on the app . My case study is Cynthia morgan , ( believe it or not , she has built a huge fan base ) but with her frequent uploading of videos showcasing her negative lifestyle ( like smoking , calling people haters, dressing nude etc ) her fans are gradually turning away from her . As a celeb you can claim your tweeter handle was hacked but that is not the case with instagram. So PLEASE am using this medium to beg all our nigerian celebrities to upload positive videos that will draw more fans to them rathen than chase them away . Feel free to express your thought

If u can't affect people's lifes positively, why are u their role model or public figure then? If your lifestyle doesn't suit mine, I'll simply back off coz its not by force.

Don't their record labels manage social network activity?
The big name artist I know has his life regulated by his record label. He has accounts on all social media outlets but has no idea what they contain. I once showed him his instagram feed and had his eyes light up like a child gifted a new toy. He saw so many pictures posted he didn't remember taking and kept asking me how things worked on the platform.

If she doesn't have a PR personnel handling her social media feeds then she's not reached the stage to call herself a big name celebrity.
