Remove the V6 engine and replace it with a V4 engine that would match the sitting and exhaust. |

alaskido: That's a wrong advice as it will cost him so much. If you are converting the engine, think of changing the gear, complete electric system of the vehicle, shafts and others. Getting an expert to diagnose the vehicle and resolve the issue is advised @ op |

Take it to a computer diagnostic center. It should be a minor fault with the injector. V6 engines are awesome, those who prefer i4s have never tested V6. |

thanks all, I will do that this weekend. I have already clean my air filter. please how many litre I suppose to used for journey of about 6 km within the city e.g alu to gra phaseII in port Harcourt or ife to ibadan |

So many mouth mechanics in this thread giving wrong advice Someone even said swapping the engine an i4 The money he will spend in doing that in the right way will get a nice 99 camry . OP am very sure that car doesn't have O2sensors Catalyctic converter in the exhaust . Fix those two and scan the ride, Not all fuel consumption problems are spark plug related , most of all do a complete tuneup |
