I am interested in fictional books focusing on international terrorism and politics especially the post 9/11 era like The Afghan and[i] Body of Lies[/i]. I am actually tired of novels about espionage in the cold war era so i need something different and more current.

I would be also be interested in urban tales dealing with topics like juvenile delinquency, drugs, corruption,gambling organized crime and gangs.i liked Mario Puzo's fools die , i 'd like something similar.

Also rags to riches stories like As crow flies and A Dangerous Fortune would be good.
