Nigeria is a crazy and scary place. A country where its citizens will purposely destroy and vandalize pipeline for transporting fuels. The thing is that, they later suffer its repercussion from high traffic volume of tanker trucks, trucks falling killing humans and property getting burnt.

It's normal and acceptable that the new government tried their own approach at solving the debacle of removing petroleum subsidy and letting the refineries to work, but as bad as it may seem, saboteurs really hampered their approach to the extent now that bubu likened saboteurs and pipeline Vandals to Boko haram.

Me and my colleagues analysed the supply chain of petroleum products in Nigeria and its terribly complex.

From Atlas Cove even to Ibadan pipeline supply route am sure is susceptible to the deadly Arepo vandals.

The pipeline supply chain to the North is unverifiably damaged allowing thousands of trucks to drive upland from Lagos to the extreme North like Zamfara and Maiduguri, causing more accidents and putting massive dents on our already dilapidated road infrastructure.

Since the pipelines can't supply the regional depots, who will supply them? the trucks?

These problems of supply chains system also greatly affects the Power system, culminating in its collapse last 2 weeks.

We as a people are too enmeshed in bitter ethnic squabbles and regional rivalries to develop as a nation, thou possible and am sure we will get there; but it'll be a long kiss goodnight to the promised land.

How can someone get involved in the business? Do I lease trailers to NNPC or do they have independent haulers?

Any info will be appreciated.

Welcome development but how many of the trucks will get to Nigerian filling stations and ultimately Nigerian consumers?

I can bet that at least 1000 trucks will be diverted to neighboring countries. Let's not also forget that our fellow Nigerians will also do everything in thier power to sabotage this effort.

I mean I am still trying to understand why someone would go and burst a gas pipeline that supplies gas for electricity generation.

Well it is like they can scoop the gas and use or sell. God bless Nigeria!

Be that as it may, Nigeria as a whole is not progressing because we like pointing fingers at political parties as well as religion instead of contributing ur quata and helping th goverment in any little way u can instead of just not been reasonable
