Budget will be passed on thursday,after the soft copy & hard copy has been received between tuesday&wednesday.and then act. presdnt.Osinbajo will sign it

Too bad! Well, it doesn't work like that in Nigeria, the Government acts even if the supplementary budget is not ready. So the last paragraph has no adverse implications!

The appropriation bill (2017 budget) to be passed on Thursday by the senate...now let see what will happen next as we all cross our fingers

This is simple English it simply means the 2016 lapses last week so as at now there's no budget on ground till the 20117 budgeet is implemented. TThat's it

it is my earnest prayer and wish that this 2017 budget would be passed 2moro. let us see whether things would start moving, because it seems this budget delay has stampeded all d recruitment processes in this country. The waiting has been a long one, wit so many of us loosing hope at some point. May the Lord continue to strengthen us all n in d end grant us victories.

Even after the senate s approval the budget will still be passed to the Acting president for assent which will also take a while to be ready.

I've also talked to the fIRS via their twitter handler they said we should disregard any rumour unless is from FIRS that we should be expecting iit is on the way

Acting P. Must ascent it within 30days....But i dont expect FIRS to b waitin for its ascent since its a must to b Ascented by d Acting President.......FIRS do Something b4 Something do U..........Many Recruitment as bin delayed bcoz of diz budget....MDAs should start recruiting.....o

honestly that Is what I don't know cos am sure firs budget is only subject to appropriation by d upper legislative house and does not require executive ascent. but any other person with a more informed information on this can help d house
