“We already on double digits this month” said the consultant doctor, not long ago Ezekwere Henry a Nigeria Consumer researcher spoke to Dr. Benson Obika a senior medical consultant for Prime hospitals Port Harcourt.
The Doctor continue , everyone is well aware of the current level of stress and hardship the country is currently facing , as a result many have resulted to unhealthy diets more so, very large numbers of adults more than ever before this year now engage in acts that will increase the risk of developing high blood pressure.

Here are the lists of behavours that have the tendency to increase high blood pressure:
- Food with high cholesterol
- Too much salt
- Too much alcohol consumption
- Smoking

PEOPLE WHO COULD LIKELY DEVELOP HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE THIS YEAR:
1. People who do not check your blood pressure frequently
2. People who are constant stressed
3. People who constantly take too much tobacco and alcohol
4. People who have traces of kidney disease
5. People who have sleeping disorders.
6. People with family members who have high blood pressure
7. Pregnant women
8. Women who take birth control pills
9. People over the age of 35
10. People who are overweight or obese
11. People who are not active
12. People who drink alcohol excessively
13. People who eat too many fatty foods or foods with too much salt
14. People who have sleep apnea
