THE STORY OF A COWARD IN LOVE by Genesis Williams

I remember when I first saw her I was terrified, it was so bright she appeared from no where and embraces me, she said: am so glad to see you. She was beautiful have been traveling for nine months to see her, where I came from was so far. She perks me on the lips and whispered: "I love you". She grabbed me and took me to her house, her house was so beautiful, filled with so many paintings that brought me joy, she was an artist, independent and strong, filled with enthusiasm, I too was in love.
I stayed with her, she said: you can have anything you want. She thought me, nothing was impossible, whispered dreams to my soul. She said :"I am your shadow, I will never leave you, we will always be together. I was her slave and I was happy, and for a time it was good but it didn't last, gradually she began to change.
It was twenty five years already, her paintings began to look different, I began to see hate and sadness, we started fighting,. She said: am tired of you doing nothing all the time, if you want to still be with me, u have to pull ur own weight. She said: I can't keep taking care of you like this every time. She was right. Night after night I would wrap my self thinking of home, where ever that was, I can't remember for the life of me.
I sit outside one afternoon, wrapped in melancholy. Doubt screaming in my ears, I started remembering all she said, there where all lies. This is what hell must feel like. A little girl walked up to me and said: why are u sad. I looked up and she looked so sad and gloomy, she reminds me of home. I smiled and said: am in love that's why. She deeps her hand in her pocket and brings out a gun, she has a grin on her face, she looked scary. I pretend not to be scared, she came close to my ears and whispered :kill her and I promise to take you home. My eyes widen, she ran away laughing. She left the gun behind, who is she....
For months I stared at that gun tossing and turning, thinking of home. Finally I decided.
In the morning we fought again, screaming through her lungs, her words her like arrows piercing my heart, I couldn't take it anymore, I pulled out my gun aiming at her, to my surprise she began to laugh and said: you coward, you not a Man, I can't believe I ever loved you! Do it she said, do it! I hesitate. I still love her, no matter what, u couldn't.

Then I heard a little girls voice saying: do it and let's go home, I turned to see who it was, and it was her, the sad gloomy girl. She stretch her hand from the window and whispered: kill her and let's go home. I was baptized in courage, I turned to my love, her face was wrapped in disgust and she said: COWARD.

my fingers on the trigger and i yelled: CURSE YOU LIFE AM NOT LIVING WITH YOU ANYMORE.

I pulled the trigger boom! The ugly sound from the gun filled the room, she is dead now I burst into tears. The gloomy girl grabbed my hands and said: it's okay, close ur eyes, and I obeyed.

People pontificate, suicide is a cowards act but suicide takes tremendous courage.

I opened my eyes and I was home. Darkness... Nothingness... Peace... Goodbye Life... I love you
