Sergio Aguero became the 25th player to score 100 goals in the Premier League on Tuesday night when he headed home Manchester City's opener against Newcastle.

The Argentine, who scored his first on his debut for the club in August 2011, glanced home Aleksandar Kolarov's inviting free-kick after 14 minutes.

The 27 year-old has reached the landmark in only his 147th league game for the club, making him the second fastest to the feat behind Alan Shearer.
