Good day friends i need advice on which to buy between c350 and c300 please i need the one that is kinda cheaper to maintain because it is going to be my first mercedes car..what year ,4matic or non 4matic

Buy a 2012 c350 sport and experience something you've never experienced before. Speeeeeeeeed...

Fuel consumption is the least of your worries. Both vehicles are very economical. I don't have any idea of the cost of the parts, but i do know they are readily available. I also know u need to service it with two gallons of Mobil 1 engine oil and a new oil filter every 15k miles or so, which is a bit costly. Also be ready for service B, this is sort of a general maintenance of the whole car, so it's gonna cost u a bit. But the ride is worth it though

The c350 has 302hp. You will definitely enjoy it more. Mind you, the 2012 c300 only comes in 4matic

Where do u live in naija? From xperience,the simpler a car is in naija;the better for you cos of kazeem.That extra power on c350 may not be significant cos both are V6 german machine. Luxury n power are the main thing here,maintanence is not beans,just ask for price of mobil 1 and absorber of the car.

i am base in ilorin but i go to lagos every weekend..so i travel alot..i know mobil 1 is expensive.i use the normal mobil for my present car... @oyee2003dr please what is your suggestion from experience?

4matic- permanent all wheel drive (better traction)
RWD- rear wheel drive only (more fun)
choice is yours

In the words of a mechanic while I was testing a fairly used 2003 c200 kmopressor "Oga if u see any Benz wey carry 4matic, run". "Only the shaft na 90 thousand"

Which year are you planning to buy? If it's 2012 as suggested by someone then I'd take it that you can afford any maintenance because a 2012 C300 or C350 doesn't come cheap.
Why do you care about fuel consumption. Power and low fuel consumption are not used in the same sentence. If lower fuel consumption is on top of your list then go for a 1.8L engine and forgo the power aspect.

Most cars should last for a considerable length of time if it properly maintained. You said that you use the regular Mobil 20W50 for your current car and I hope that's not what you are planning for the 2012 C300/C350. These cars require specific fluids from engine oil to power steering to brake fluid to transmission fluid.
You need to be sure that you understand what you are getting into!!!!
