The commander in Chief of the Arm Forces of Nigeria, PMB told us that Boko Haram has been technically defeated but this story says otherwise. I smell court-martials coming for this guy. What he is saying in essence is that the war is still actively ongoing, which means his superiors lied.

how is it easier? an rpg is worse because its propelled which means once it hits an object with force it exlopdes, while a hand thrown grenade counts down using a timer, in some cases people can pick them and throw back or have some seconds to escape before it goes off, so its easier to escape the latter than the former.

Still wondering how you happened to be alone when the RPG was shot at you. And why would a sane man waste 3grenades on a single soldier instead of making a minced meat of him with a few 7.62mm bullets?

Rpg are normally formed into a shaped charge so that most of the explosion is aimed into one direction, making it more useful against armor and object with larger body. Greenade on the other hand are designed to throw shrapnel all around. The fact Greenade covers more area gives it more advantage IMO. Rpg fired horizontally will definitely be less accurate isn't it
