With the uproar and embarrassment caused by the unilateral decision of one Mr Suleiman Bakari, an EFCC national assembly Liaison officer,to decorate and give an Anti-Corruption Award on Sen. Ike Ekweremadu,Deputy Senate President,Federal Republic of Nigeria, most of us can't stop wondering what could be the official job of an EFCC National assembly liaison officer.
It appears that there's more than meets the eye in this embarrassing scenario.
A top security officer /civil servant woke up one day, designed a certificate award and "dubiously " awarded it to the number 6(?) man of the nation and carried on national TV and news media ? And 24hours later, his bosses claimed that they are not aware and even "stripped " the senator of the much publicized 'award '

Is the appointment of an EFCC official as liaison officer really necessary?

If yes, what are his duties?

Is it statutorily necessary for EFCC and some government agencies to have a National assembly liaison officer?

How many government agencies have such "offices of national assembly liaison " presently stationed in the national assembly or /and state assemblies all over the federation?

Is this the practice in other nations,particularly ,the nations we borrowed this form of democracy from?

Everyone keeps saying that isn't his job, so what is his job?

What does he do at the national assembly to earn salary every month?
