I would really appreciate recommendations on how best to monitor inventory.(what comes in,what goes out, what's left).
Usually we employ a very manual process that is not very effective as the "guys" still have a way of stealing goods(money)

I'm not always around, the over reliance on me(it's a family business of over 20years) to monitor everything that goes on even in my absence is choking me.

What I had/have in mind is the type of setup most pharmacies use. The type that makes sure there's an invoice for every sale. Does anyone know how effective that system is?
It's a music equipment store so there's almost zero need for an internet based system.

So any suggestions at all on what/how to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated. something a little bit automated.
