Saraki Under Fire As Nigerians In Diaspora Demand His Head by blakberrybabes1: 7:03am On Apr 25, 2016 |
A group under the aegis of the Nigerians in Diaspora Monitoring Group (NDMG), has called on the Senate President, Bukola Saraki to resign. The group also offered to help Saraki to write his resignation letter. The group, in a statement sent to Daily Trust via mail, said"His (Saraki) failure to declare his assets or falsifying any declaration he did made is a violation of the Code of Conduct for Public Officers as spelt out in the constitution. A lawbreaker has no business leading the nation’s law making arm. Revelations of the Panama Papers about his offshore assets, which were not declared by the way, are enough reason for Saraki to have done the needful. It amazed me how this APC government have successfully channel most Nigerians intentions on irrelevances all this while. A question a child will ask , is saraki the biggest problem of Nigeria economy now? Is Saraki preventing the executives we elected to make policies that are favourable to the citizens? Is Saraki the only escape goat if found guilty Nigerian numerous problems will be solved immediately ? Is high time we tell this APC government to channel all their efforts towards making and implementing policies that are favourable to the teeming population, period! This is 21st century not slavery. |

Luckylife: How can you call this irrelevant? Let's be objective for once. Did he commit these crimes? Did he declare his assets falsely? Was there any link to Panama papers? If all the answers to these and more are yes, then I don't think the Nigerian government is channelling it's energy wrongly. |

Saraki has successfully dragged the entire Senate into his pigsty. He has shown utter disdain for justice. Constantly shopping for pay-per-injuction judges to do his bidding. He must vacate the senate and barred from public office for his obvious graft. |
