Good day fellow nairalanders,am going to share this little tips with mini importers in the house, there are good and bad time awaiting mini importers that buys from aliexpress, Aliexpress has impose a new policy to all her merchants, Major part of the policies is that all merchants will have to sell own Brand Items, and also all merchant will have to register their store name with the government just like CAC(Nigeria), as at now 80% of merchants on aliexpress is Personal store(unregistered) ,why 20% is Registered with the Government, There will not be unbranded item anymore on aliexpress and if at all its branded, its must be the store Private Brand which will force all merchants to obtain own Brand License. Aliexpress has giving all merchant deadline till august in which after then
Massive closure of stores will take place, this will reduce the number of merchants, because aliexpress want to enhance their services. Now the bad part is that things that should have sold for 3usd will now be sold for
Like 5usd in the new regime. Why the good thing is that whatever you are buying be rest assure that you are buying atlease (Level3 GradeB), there will be no cheap items as usual again. So in order to keep in contact regularly with your aliexpress seller ensure you have his contact like email address or qq,or trade manager,or whatsapp, so that by the time his store is wiped off, you can still continue your trade with him. Because as at now, aliexpress sellers has started registering and flooding ebay, amazon becos they cannot cope with the new policy. I hope this helps?, On my Next thread I will be sharing with us, On states, cities that specialised on low quality(cheap) and High quality(expensive) items, and more. Cheers.
