Hero has taken over. Lol Perhaps consumption level may have reduced in the South West where Guiness has their most loyal customers, but not in the South South or South East. Enter Owerri or Ph, you wil see everyone drinking Hero proper. Kudos to SABMiller. They have targeted and taken control of a good section of the market. 1 Like |

I saw this coming a long time ago. The only thing that is keeping Guiness Nigeria afloat now is probably Origin herbal beer. But recently with the resurgence of Trophy from Consolidated beweries, the beer market share has been largely divided among Trophy , Star lager, and Origin. Others like Guilder, 33, Harp and Roots from NB are just crawling unlike the former. |
