1. Sales Reps

Our client, a well established fashion retailer with several fashion retail outlets in Lagos and environs requires for immediate employment qualified and results driven sales representatives. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals.

The Role

Greeting customers who enter the shop.
Stocking shelves with merchandise
Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
Responsible for security within the store
Be involved in weekly stock control and management.
Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
Answering queries from customers.
Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
Balancing cash registers with receipts.
Dealing with customer refunds.
Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes sweeping and mopping.
Responsible for dealing with customer complaints.
Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
Carry out other tasks relating to customer service as directed by the supervisor
The Person

Possess a minimum of OND qualification
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as word & excel
Having a friendly and engaging personality.
Have sales and customer service experience preferably in a fashion retail outlet
Should be confident and outgoing.
Must be helpful and polite.
Should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
Able to work as part of a sales team
Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.

2. Outlet Supervisors

The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively in the various outlets.

The Role

Develop business strategies to increase customer awareness, expand store traffic and optimise profitability
Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Ensures availability of merchandise by maintaining inventories.
Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
Conduct personnel supervision of sales representatives
Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
Be a shining example of well behaviour and high performance
Carry out other tasks as directed by the Managing Director
The Person

Must be a graduate with a minimum of BSc in Business Administration or any relevant social science course
Proven successful supervisory experience preferably (but not essential) in retail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages such as word, excel and powerpoint
Understand and can use the various social media platforms like faceebook, instagram etc
Powerful leading skills and business orientation
People and customer management skills
Strong organisational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Should be of a smart appearance
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
