Are We Serving Our Legistlators Or They Are Serving Us. by samento: 5:27pm On Apr 27, 2016
I think it is the right time we ask our legislators some pertinent and fundamental questions: Are they in Abuja to serve the electorate, because I believe democracy as defined, is the government of the people by the people and for the people. Legistors are one of the three tiers of governance.
Being a Legislator should be a Service to the Nation, Like in the Civil Service, it should not be a smart legalised Scam office where tax payers' money is Lavished on unreasonably assumed expenses.
I so move the motion that Legislators should be Placed on the same Salary Scale with Our
Federal Senior Civil Servants and their allowances be cut to reasonable amounts.

These are the things we call
#CHANGE#

SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT WHEN YOUR REPRESENTATIVES EARN MORE THAN YOU. MINIMUM WAGE OF N18,000 CAN NOT BE MET & HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR MONTHS
IN MOST STATES YET THE CRIMINALS LAWBREAKERS TAKE HOME MORE MONIES THAN ANY OTHER SENATORS IN THE WORLD :

NIGERIANS WAKE UP. . . OF WHAT VALUE ARE THEY TO US?
DO WE REALLY NEED THEM?
This is why we should #SackTheSenate!

($181,974.00)

* TOTAL YEARLY SALARY = N29,479,749.00 multiply by
12 = N353,756,988.00

The average salary of Nigerian worker based on the national minimum wage is N18,000.00,
So, the yearly salary is N18,000.00 x 12 = N216,000.00
Remember, Yearly Salary of Nigerian Senator =
N353,756,988.00

Proportion: N353,756,988.00/N216,000.00
= 1,638
It will take an average Nigerian worker
1,638 years to earn the yearly salary of a Nigerian Senator.
What is wrong with us, we should raise our voice, stone them because they are not for us. Immidiately they collect our votes they relocate to Abuja and most of them did not even know why they are there. We should act now for the sake of our children unborn.
