SOCs looks nice on paper and should perform. Only thing you should worry about is the overall build quality. Ulefone seems to be improving in that department. Wait for reviews and make up your mind.

As a layman, except for the 3000 mAh battery, it seems to beat Xiaomi hands down? What do you say?

I doubt it. On paper, the Redmi note 3 pro has a better SOC. SD650 vs helio p10. Build-wise, Redmi still ahead. I'd say for innovative features (i.e including the touch ID by the side), Ulefone did something really cool.
