COMPETITION AMONG SPOUSES

Love is like eeman, attimes It increases and sometimes it decreases, if you
remember Allah, eeman increases and if you remember your spouse much, love
increases!
.
The house of the messenger of Allah salallahu alayhi wassalam was not a mere
house of indomie and spaghetti, it was filled with iba'dah yet the fun that
happened there was flabbergasting.
HE made over eleven women feel loved and cherished that they never shed a
tear once, but many men today can't even handle a wife witout making her cry!
.
Akhi, don't make your marriage like a barren land or dry desert, make it a
flowing river or a garden of roses! All is not rosy though but at all at all na em
bad pass.
.
Here are some ways to compete:
1)pick a mushaf, open to a surah, take a paper and a pen and tell your wife that
let's start writing this surah, whoever finished first is the winner! It will boost
her writing skills and yours
.
2)surah baqarah is to be recited every 3 days to chase shaitan away from your
homes, when you recite to some extent, give her to recite too, and then you and
then her to the end.

3)if you have a fenced compound, you can run or jug with her every morning,
the fence conceals both of you from the sight of people.
.
4)compete in waking up for tahajjud, if she refuses to wake up, sprinkle water
on her face and viceversa.
-compete in doing chores atleast during weekends, she pills yam, you boil it,
she pounds, you eat, Lol
.
5)compete in memorizing the Quran, help her wit hers and she will help you
with yours.
6)compete in bed too, its a rewarding act, I don't have to explain this, you know
better.

Akhi, try to have a mini halqah in your home, you are the amir of your house,
teach your kids and wives after isha every evening, let it be the last thing they
do before sleeping, teach them seerah, fiqh, hadith, tafsir, give them lectures to
present, many couples spend their evenings watching soaps and movies, this
won't help your eeman.

Many husbands are so dry, they frown always and they respond to their wives
in a moody way, but as soon as the phone rings, he speaks in such a lively way
and even laughs with the caller, but he can't remember the last time he gave
his wife a tender smile.
.
Many men propose to women but end up marrying their phones, because they
spend most of the time pressing their phones while neglecting the wife, when
you see a married man/woman online at 11pm everynight, you begin to wonder
where his/her spouse is.
.
Women, don't dull yourself too, if your husband appears boring or moody, pinch
him in his bom-bom, tickle his feets, poke his nose and spray water on him, he
would begin to laugh and chase you, that's how play starts, don't always wait
for him to initiate, you are not a robot, you can start it too. Many women
complain abt their husband but she makes no effort to make things work!

Abus, compete even in text messages, if she sends a cute text, send her a
better one, hide love notes in her purse, bags, pockets and costume box. If you
do all this, she won't complain when you want to take a mathna.

Abu, attimes quickly wake up, do the dishes, sweep and clean all the cleanables
and prepare breakfast, wake her wit a kiss and serve her in bed. She would go
crazy about you. Wash her clothes attimes and change the baby pampers too,
plait her hair and cut her nails, back the baby if you can, if you can't, don't see
it as awkward, I do them and am still alive! Lol.

Akhi, you want your wife to always look tushing in the house but you look like a
carpenter, shouldn't you adorn yourself too, you comb your beards once in a
week and you expect her to plait her hair everyday for you? The rasul would
spray perfume and use siwak before going to his wives.

In summary:
Love comes before marriage but true love comes after marriage, you can make
a poor woman feel like a princess if only you treat her the way you want your
daughter to be treated!
