you must have all heard about this plan..You can subscribe by dialing *440*16#..I've been using this for a while now but I've discovered something the mb easily zaps on android phone compared to BlackBerry phones..but I've found a way to fix this.

download mtk engineering mode app...
follow this instructions
open thep app

click mtk settings

swipe right to connectivity

open cds information

after that open radio information

click the phone which your airtel sim is in like phone 1 is sim 1 while phone 2 is sim 2

after u av chosen the Sim..where u see AT+ .type E in front den click AT+EGMR=""

in the quotations write in btwn them the imei u want to tweak...and leave a space before the equal sign like this AT+EGMR ="the imei"

restart the phone

thats all

Instead of spending extra 500 naira for the same 3gb, why not subscribe for airtel bb complete that goes for 1k for 3gb, with this same tweaked imei and APN. Only difference is subscription code which is *440*1#...that's what I'm using now.

I wish I saw this before subscribing for the glo #1400/3gb. The network is even bad where I am staying.

Been hearing about that..but someone told that it doesn't work even though u tweak ur imei..drop a screenshot ..and are u sure u just leave your default apn which is internet.ng.airtel.com??

That's what I'm been using for almost 2 months now. Just did a new sub on Wednesday. The apn I use is blackberry.com

Not at all.. Data is deducted at a normal rate which you can confirm from your data usage, unlike the useless so-called airtel bb unlimited 1500 for 3gb.

I've told you what I use as my apn. I'm not an airtel agent and I won't be the one to benefit from the credit you're gonna load. if I what I said is not enough for you to believe, then you can do what you wish please.

Yh, blackberry.com..the default apn internet.ng.airtel.com also works with it, all in small letters. U subscribe by dialing *440*1#

aii..tried blackberry.com wit ma bb unlimitee and it didnt work... same wit blackberry.net . its only internet.ng.airtel.com dat works
