Seun, there are some certain issues you don't necessarily need to bring to the knowledge of Nairalanders before implementing them. One of them is the BANNING OF PUNTING AND FOREX! Seun, gambling and forex trading are mind diseases that are almost incurable. It takes only great discipline to quit gambling. Most Nairalanders here are already blackmailing you by saying that you "Only want to Ban Gambling and Forex trades because they don't advertise with you".... Lol... Ignorance at display. I am certain beyond all reasonable doubts that the reverse is the case here. This is so because am well aware that gambling and forex sites are on their knees begging you to accept adverts running into millions of Naira from them but you rejected them totally!


Seun, I have seen people sell their houses, sell their cars, leave their family hungry all in a bid to win millions which are non existent. SEUN, gambling is so bad and should be banned TOTALLY on this site. Like you rightly observed, the only people making money out of this stuff are the owners of the site and their middle men. My reason for telling you to enforce what you already have in mind is borne out of the conviction that most people were introduced to gambling courtesy of Nairaland. Some of them who already knew about gambling but swore never to engage in it, later succumbed because of fake positive reviews that they receive on nairaland!

SEUN, I know that you are very smart and you are very much aware most people who engage in gambling and forex trading loose woefully. This is so because even the ground for engaging is such betting acts is devoid of fair play! Most of these betting sites even go to the extent of buying and fixing flash games! Games they are well aware that people will rush to choose! The job of this betting sites is no different than Ponzi scheme, GNLD, Tianshi or what have you! Its always push me I push You and most of them end up taking money away from desperate stakers.

In a good year, he can rake $15 millions from gambling, which account for only 20% of his revenues.  So if $15 millions represents 20% of his yearly revenue.  We can conclude that he rake $75 millions a year, most of it via real estate.  Not bad for a degenarate gambler!
