– President Buhari has met with G-19 group of APC party leaders
– The leaders discussed issues of national importance and matters relted to the party

President Muhammadu Buhari received G-19 Group of he All Progressives Congress (APC Party) leaders at the Statehouse on Wednesday, May 4. Before the meeting the president went round greeting the members of G-19 Group.


Those in attendance include the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of House of Representative Yakubu Dogara and Senate Majority Leader Senator Ali Ndume.
The leadership of the ruling party held its regular meeting where it discussed issues of national importance and matters pertaining to the party.

Recall that the APC, which replicated the Second Republic caucus platform of the defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in a bid to foster a better working relationship between the party and the government, created the special caucus named the G19.
