An emergency meeting of the National Executives Council (NEC) of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has been summoned for May 10 in Abuja.
The forthcoming meeting was summoned by the National President of CAN Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor to discuss issues relating to the presidential election of the organisation.
It was learnt that the election slated for May 17-19 might take place at the meeting.
The Electoral College, which was saddled with the responsibility of pruning the candidates to two and presenting them to NEC for election, has written the exercise will be put on hold to allow TEKAN\ECWA bloc present a candidate.
