The issues cannot be narrowed to any one tribe or any one incident. Nomadic murderers are slaughtering people across the country including Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa, Plateau which are "fellow Northern States". Criminals, militant, kdinappers, rapists and arsonists are also on the prowl. Inter-ethnic violence have occurred in Lagos, Jos, Kaduna etc. Killings by ANY tribe, ANY religion should not be rationalized or accepted. All of them are symptomatic of deeper issues.
