The igbos do fight the Yorubas ,whenever one of theirs is attacked in Yorubaland ..The was the same basis on which the Fulani organized their said "reprisal attack"... It is extra-judicial, no matter their reason for the killings...Such a pity, the innocent ones do suffer for the sins of the guilty ones..

Neither parties are right and a solution has to be sought.

Reconciliation needs to be sought.

Quite the opposite, its those ppl that first killed and buried their brothers upside down in shallow graves that took the loan.

If you had paid careful attention you would have learnt also of the Fulani culture of revenge and how they recruit fighters among themselves from various kinship by simply sending out Kola of invitation.

The recent massacre is apparently the first down payment and possibly the beginning of reprisal and counter reprisal, because the Fulani as they are known never forgive and will always take their pound of flesh no matter how long it took.
I therefore pity the community which started the killing, because they will now have to learn how to sleep with one eye open.

I have said it before and will say it again, Fulani do not just start killing without reason; we can clearly see (based on this confession) that it was the Igbo community that started the killing and burying the Fulani secretly.
The Fulani even complained severally to the community elders and police authorities but to no avail; as a result of which they took the law into their own hands - ironically this is the same position the Igbos backed by a less than objective press are taking.

I want to say that the cattle herders/farmer clashes is a national problem which happens everywhere throughout the country, not only in the south but also in the north; it is neither a tribal nor a religious problem but an economic one that requires an economic solution through careful handling and objectivity.

The grazing bill may not necessarily resolve it completely but would go a long way towards curtailing it and therefore worthwhile trying.
Lets just pray for peace to reign.

The mistake fulanis made was attacking Igboland thinking they were attack some of their usual slaves who don't value their lives. fulani will keep paying as long as nigeria exists, infact the Aba reprisal is part of that payment.

Now that they have PERMANENTLY RELOCATED OUT OF ENUGU, will the cows still feed in Enugu farms? Of course not. Their brothers in Aba are still hiding in barracks.

Bakkasi has come alive. Any cow that strays into Enugu now belongs to the community. It will now be very difficult for fulani to survive in the East. We are watching them Amansea in Awka very keenly.

gradually the story is unfolding...the Fulani's I maintain don't attack if not provoked,been to the East too they are very hospitable especially Enugu (such lovely people). This if going by the article,is a case of "do me I do you" but one man do don pass the other, how do we solve this matter?
1)Arrest all those involved in the killing
2) Investigate the allegations of Fulani being killed,if true,arrest the culprit.
3)Promulgate a law banning herding of livestock
4)All involved,Fulani/or Igbo should be punished accordingly.
CASE CLOSED.

I am asking you the above question, because you stated that both parties are guilty of murder.
A better advice would have been to apprehend the killers of the three fulanis and also the arrest and prosecution of the murderous fulani hoard and their backers, that way both parties will be brought to justice.
