The leader of the Fulani community in the South East geo-political zone of the country and also the deputy leader of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, South East chapter, Alhaji Ardo Saidu Baso, Thursday gave reasons why suspected Fulani herdsmen penultimate Monday attacked and massacred scores of Ukpabi-Nimbo people. They will always claim they were killed first or that their cows were killed. Why not report it to police? The simple solution to this menace is: Let herding be outlawed. It is already illegal. It is trespassing which is illegal. In all modern societies, cows are reared in ranches located on properties owned by those farmers.
