1. Lekki-Ikoyi bridge, Lagos: This 1.36km long bridge has become the de-facto 'face of Lagos' owing to its sheer beauty. It is the first cable-stayed bridge in Nigeria and was commissioned on May 29th, 2013.

2. Millau Viaduct bridge, Paris: Another cable-stayed bridge, it is the tallest bridge in the world and spans the valley of the River Tarn near Millau in southern France.

3. Brooklyn Bridge, New York City: This is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge and a major New York landmark spanning the East River. In 1964, it was designated a National Historic Landmark.



4. Ponte Vecchio, Florence: This is a Medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River, in Florence, Italy, noted for still having shops built along it as was the case in the past.
