Hi guys, I'm 8 months pregnant and I'm craving for ugba but I don't want to use akanwu to prepare it. How can I prepare the ugba without using it. Thanks |

U can use a dash of bicarbonate of soda used in baking. its a food catalyst doing d same job as kaun. U use it to cook okra and ewedu when kaun/potash is unavailable. Helps retain the greenish color too.give it a try! 2 Likes 1 Share |
