The Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) members have arrested four Boko Haram terrorists in Borno state. Since 2013, hundreds of youths have volunteered to work with security forces, because they know the grounds better. However, many of them were killed by the sect. During the last year the Nigerian army has launched an aggressive campaign against the insurgents and recorded great success. No part of Nigeria is currently under the control of the Boko Haram sect. The group can’t seize villages anymore, but still launches separate attacks with the help of suicide bombers.
