The Nigerian regime seeking dead sentence for 63 Shia minors after murdering their Parents

May 10, 2016Uncategorized

The Nigerian regime seeking dead sentence for 63 Shia minors after murdering their Parents:

The whole world now have a clear picture of what actually happened on the 12th-14th December, 2015 in Zaria, #Nigeria, where the Nigerian army launched a coordinated and pre-planned attacks on the peaceful Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem #Zakzaky and killed close to 1000 defenseless and unarmed Nigerians and dumped their dead bodies in mass Graves.

Some of those killed in the #ZariaMassacre – both male and female – had children who are minors, Sixty-three (63) of these minors that are aged between 9-17 years were abducted by the Nigerian army after killing their Parents in the Zaria massacre and sent to prison. These 63 minors were later released on bail but they were yesterday charged to a Kaduna state High Court that was presided over by Justice Hannatu Balogun and charged with “culpable homicide” and the Nigerian regime is demanding a death sentence!

For my non-Nigerian audience, recently a Nigerian Court of Appeal upheld a 25-years sentence for some murderous #BokoHaram terrorists who had killed 1000s of innocent Nigerians, attacked Churches, Mosques, markets and other public places but here is the wicked, oppressive and tyrannical Nigerian regime under President Buhari demanding death sentence for 63 Shia Muslim minors whom the Nigerian army brutally murdered their Parents and dumped their dead bodies in mass Graves.

It is important to note that the Nigerian regime had already charged close to 200 Shia Muslims with “culpable homicide” and is demanding a death sentence for the killing of a manufactured soldier that they themselves killed. It is true that a certain soldier called “Yaqubu Dankaduna” was killed during the Zaria massacre but he was killed by friendly fire of the Nigerian army. The fact that he was killed by friendly fire was the reason why the Nigerian army did not announced his death during all their press statements and press releases after the Zaria massacre. Even when the Nigerian army Chief Buratai went to the Nigerian Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and made his presentation, he did not mentioned that a soldier was killed. When asked of the casualty list he said “only 7 Shiites were killed and 10 injured”.

But due to wickedness that is an embedded character of the Nigerian President Buhari and the quest to justify the Saudi petro-dollars they are expecting to receive as “settlement” for killing close to 1000 Shia Muslims and destroying the Husseiniyyah, our Nigerian oppressors had taken the Shia persecution to a new height by demanding death sentence for 63 minors that they brutally slaughtered their Parents and dumped their dead bodies in mass Graves.

Nigerians should ask this question that why is it that the Nigerian ruling cabal that is dominated by the corrupt Northern Nigerian elites treats the murderous BokoHaram terrorists with kid gloves and minimum force as confessed by President Buhari but brutally murdered Nigerian Shia Muslims that are always peaceful? It is also important to note that these corrupt Northern cabal are responsible for the wanton poverty, rampant unemployment and backwardness of Northern Nigeria as a region.

With every step that this corrupt Northern Nigerian cabal take since the Zaria massacre, the world sees the extend of their evil, wickedness and inhumanity. They ignorantly think that they can destroy an Idea by killings, bombings, destroying properties, burning people alive, burying people alive and using trump-up charges to imprisoned their victims. The heart is the station where Ideas are nurtured and cultivated, when the heart is killed it became seeds that will germinate again and again. This is how Ideas are developed throughout human history. Bombs, bullets and prisons have never defeat an Idea and that will not happen in Nigeria!

On a final note, I congratulate all on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the beloved Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (sa), Imam Hussein (as). May God grant us the will to remain on his glorious path of resistance against tyranny and wicked oppression to the end of our lives!

If this is true then we really must start petitioning our local politicians, local government representatives, senators, governors etc. Nigeria has a poor record of human rights abuses and we need to prevent the incumbent government from getting even bloodier. They need to understand that every Nigerian life matters.

Iran Still a Leading Executioner of Minors, Report Says

By RICK GLADSTONE
JANUARY 25, 2016
Iran is one of the leading executioners of juvenile offenders, despite its improved legal protections for children and a pledge more than two decades ago to end the death penalty for convicts younger than 18, Amnesty International said Monday.

In a new report, Amnesty International said that it had documented the execution of at least 73 juveniles in Iran from 2005 to 2015 and that 160 juvenile offenders are languishing on the country’s death row.

The report casts doubt on laws meant to improve children’s rights in Iran in the past few years, including new discretion by judges to impose alternative punishments on juveniles convicted of capital crimes. In reality, the report said, these changes are attempts by the authorities to “whitewash their continuing violations of children’s rights and deflect criticism of their appalling record as one of the world’s last executioners of juvenile offenders.”

Amnesty International, a leading global advocate for abolition of the death penalty, had also recorded the execution of juveniles in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, and there are juveniles on death row in the Maldives and Nigeria.

There is little doubt among rights groups that Iran has executed more people convicted of capital crimes committed as minors than any other country.

“Iran is almost certainly the world leader in executing juvenile offenders,” Michael G. Bochenek, senior counsel of the children’s rights division at Human Rights Watch, said in a post on its website in April.

Amnesty International has released its report as a United Nations committee is reviewing compliance with the Convention of the Rights of the Child. In 1994, Iran ratified that treaty, which prohibits capital punishment and life imprisonment without the possibility of release for offenses committed by people younger than 18.

“This report sheds light on Iran’s shameful disregard for the rights of children,” Said Boumedouha, deputy director of Amnesty International’s Middle East and North Africa Program, said in a statement released with the report. “Despite some juvenile justice reforms, Iran continues to lag behind the rest of the world, maintaining laws that permit girls as young as 9 and boys as young as 15 to be sentenced to death.”

There was no immediate comment from Iranian officials on the Amnesty International report. Requests for a response from Iran’s mission to the United Nations in New York were not returned. The Iranian judicial authorities have previously sought to impugn reporting by Amnesty International about Iran’s use of the death penalty as biased and lacking credibility.

Elise Auerbach, an Iran specialist in Amnesty International’s United States branch, said Iran had in the past sought to sidestep criticism of its juvenile death-penalty practices by saying that offenders were not executed until after they had reached adulthood.

“They have executed juvenile offenders,” she said. “If the person commits a crime at age 15 and is not executed until age 21, they’re still executed as juvenile offenders.”

Ms. Auerbach said the report, written by researchers at Amnesty International’s headquarters in London, was based on information received from death-penalty opponents and human rights defenders in Iran, as well as from lawyers and relatives of juveniles convicted of capital crimes in Iran.

Now that Iran is emerging from an era of international sanctions and is seeking broader acceptance, Ms. Auerbach said, rights groups are hoping that the Iranian authorities “realize they have to act in accordance with international human rights standards.”

For years, Iran has ranked among the world’s top executioners. In July, Amnesty International said the Iranian authorities were believed to have executed 694 people in the first seven months of 2015, the equivalent of more than three people a day.

In few years from now when the Shiite are armed with warheads from Iran and starts demanding justice, I hope Buhari and co with his Saudi backed Sunnis are only the targets.

If any of you didn't condemn this grave injustice now, you forfeit the moral right to condemn the Shiite once they are armed and going ballistic.
