Professor Ignatius Onimawo Lectures in Nutrition and Biochemistry courses from undergraduate to PhD level. Consultant in Public Health Nutrition. Involved in research in Non-communicable diseases, iron deficiency anaemia, development of new foods and human body composition and human energy requirements. Competences in anthropometry, dietary analysis and functional properties of foods etc.

This were is words after the election that day everything towards the VC-elect changed they were accusing him of being violent,attempting of murder and even planning a protest. He also went ahead saying the AREA COMMAND OF THE NIGERIA POLICE EKPOMA summoned him the VC-elect to their office saying he was the one who planned the rcent protest which was later resolve after much investigation
Explaining further he said

"in the morning we got a call that he as been announced as the new VC but we kept it in a "low key" not until he was announce the new VC by the EDO state BRoadcasting Stattion knwown as EBS by 2pm today now all family and well wishers are celebrating "

The new VC-elect also promise to work and put the intrest of the school and its student in his heart,he also urgues all members of the university to work with him to promote a greater AAU"
