Half a million naira just for dat service? C'mon dude, u got paid for going d xtra mile. Lessons learnt.

lalasticlala: In these pictures from the event, the ambassador steps out on the catwalk dressed in a stunning black evening gown from the luxury collection by Spanish designer Rosa Rueda as well as a glamorous number from House of Bunor's red carpet collection, accompanied by Nigerian fashion designer Frank Osodi.
This woman is a role model to other Nigerian ambassadors.
She's not scared of defending the defenseless, helping the helpless, and now promoting nigerian businesses abroad.
There's no way she'll do all of these w/out a good rapport with d spanish govt.
Instead of some gullible nigerians to appreciate her for her selfless service to the country and humanity, they're bringing out their filthy nature. Smh
Like her, hate her, it doesnt change d fact that she's a true Nigerian representative, Abroad.
firstEVA: This is the height of insensitivity on the part of of president - Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, just a day after almost 50 children lost their lives due to an attack by Boko haram, our dear president is declaring for a second term. Shouldn't he have postponed this campaign to at least commiserate with the families of those who lost their lives?
We all know the whole explosions were to deter his declaration. If there was'nt an explosion during his planned declaration, some of us will still say BH is a PDP controlled device. And would have made it public here on nairaland.
Our problem in this country is not putting ourselves in the picture before making comments. We tend to live much in pretence than d reality.
Will you use because of of d death of a lovely cousine and abandon an induction to an LNG job u've scaled thru the interview, knowing quite well dat nt bn part of the induction will get u disqualified?
Or coz of ur child's death, cancel going to sign a federal contract u just won if itz time based?
Do nt allow ur hatred for this guy to clog ur common sense of reasoning. Thank you!
unitysheart: While Don Jazzy has since gone ahead to establish and promote his Mavins crew, D'Banj has not really done much with his Lee group. However, he is one artiste from Nigeria whose name is now being sung far and beyond Aftica and Nigeria at this moment. HIS last presentation at TEDxWBG is out of this space and he has done so much for agriculture and on ending poverty.
Abeg, make una share your opinion on who has grown more out of Don Jazzy and Dbanj.
Grown in what sense? - music wise, I dont see dbanj achieving anything worthwhile on merit compared to donjazy - moneywise We cant just say. while dbanj is busy picking up label ambassador, don j on d other hand has also picked up some ambassadorial nomination with mtn and some fmcg companies.
The fact is dat dbanj makes almost all of his achievements public, unlike donjazzy.
Though I expect the beats ambassadorial nomination to be a huge one, but dbanj is dead, musically.
NairaMode: Protecting those who want to serve as witnesses or those giving evidences is understandable. Secretly carrying out a trial is what is beyond me no matter the reason.
I thought the explicit and intrinsic importance of the court is to openly try and convict criminals, send them to jail so that it will serve as a deterrent to others.
I believe GEJ is trying but he is just so weak. There are a lot of funny things about his government.
If you will agree with me, you will realize that corrupt people/ politicians under GEJs government are left alone without trial. They go free. He doesn't have balls but he is a good man. Nigeria doesn't want a good man... we "NEED" someone with balls. Someone who can act, try corrupt people and nail it on the head plain and simple and live with the consequences.
And if u were to be a witness in such case, will u do so if it were to be made open? Remember u nt dealing with only Ndume, u also dealing with the terrorists and d witnesses, who's life and that of their family is at risk.
If u make it partly secrete, some pple will now know wen to hunt down the suspected witnesses. Dont forget some journalsists are boko sympathisers!
etunoman76: Buhari meanwhile, yesterday procured the party’s N27.5 million expression of interest and nomination forms at the national secretariat.
Lamenting what the costs of the forms were high, he said that it took the understanding of his bankers in Kaduna and Abuja to raise the money.
“It’s a pity I couldn’t influence this amount to be put down as in the case of ladies and the disabled that intend to participate. I always looked left and right in our meetings but I could not read sympathy, so I kept my trap.
“But I felt heavily sorry for myself because I don’t want to go and ask somebody to pay for my nomination forms, because I always try to pay myself, at least for the nomination.
“N27 million is a big sum, thankfully I have personal relationship with the manager of my bank in Kaduna and early this morning, I put an early call (and) I told him that very soon the forms are coming, so, whether I am on red, or green or even black please honour it, otherwise I may lose the nomination.
“I was about to go to Kaduna this morning and I told the Chairman (John Odigie-Oyegun) but he said in that case, you better pick your form and keep a straight face. That means there is no excuse,” Buhari said.
Responding after handing over the forms to Buhari, the national chairman of the party, Chief Odigie-Oyegun explained that the N27.5m was carefully chosen to “separate men from the boys”.
“Let me say that the N27.5m is to separate the men from the boys. It is quite clear. We know you. I don’t expect you have N27m under your bed. But I expected that there are Nigerians who will vouch for you any day and who are ready to stand for you any day and that is the result that we have obtained today”, he said.
The chairman who expressed satisfaction over the turnout that greeted Buhari’s presidential declaration at Eagles Square in Abuja on Wednesday further stated that APC’s train was already on its way to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
Odigie-Oyegun also yesterday said the party would not be averse to the emergence of a consensus candidate should all the presidential aspirants in the party agree to it. He nevertheless stated the readiness of the party to conduct free and fair primaries that would be acceptable to all.
He said: “I want to congratulate you again on the great event that I watched very avidly on television yesterday. It was good for you but it was good for me and the party. I watched it and I knew the entire nation was watching. And I knew inside me what they would be saying. Yes, truly, APC has arrived. These people mean business. Yes, we are going to have quite a few aspirants and we are very glad at the level of display that one by one, they are putting up. It’s a clear indication of the quality in APC.
”It is a clear indication of the quality of leadership that we are offering the nation. “All the people being presented by the APC, there is not one to my mind, so far, who is not eminently qualified to govern this nation and who given even half a chance will not beat anybody PDP can bring to the fore.”
These guys go soon use human shit do campaign. Ur borrowing to contest, is it not a sign of desperation? The dude wan form Obama of Africa (smh), bt his advisers seems inept.
Quote me Buhari will neva smell dat seat again. In oshiomole's voice, 'let him go n die'
tiwaz: What a sad! Popular Nollywood actor Clems Onyeka has died. He was gunned down by a stray bullet in Asaba this afternoon October 14th. According to eye-witnesses, robbers who robbed a bank along Summit Express, were exchanging gun fire with police when Clems got hit by a stray bullet. He was just 37 years old. May his soul rest in peace...Amen.
[quote author=bingbagbo post=27047195]A husband left for vacation for 20 days. Upon returning he took this picture of his wife. After close examination he asked her for a divorce as he determined she was cheating. What did he see in the picture? []
The bed is rough and from the pics, d wife is excited about something that has to do with the camera man.
The camera man has something to do with the scattered bed, the lady's excited mood, and possibly made worse if datz the lady's matrimonial bed.
Though the lady may have an explanation, bt her mood is nothing short of love connection with d camera man or woman, if she's also a lezzz...
omenka: Wow!!! Lovely post!! At least, something to be truly proud of!!
When you do things right, the world is forced to notice and respect you. We ought to draw a big lesson from this event. No one grants you respect you didn't earn.
I'm really feeling proud here!
SMH
Why do they have to wait till now. Is it not to blow our ego, so we can be of help to them? C'mon, u dont have to wait for this crap before bn proud of nigeria. There are some other positives to draw from Nigeria.
berem: When a man cheats, they say its a man's world and men are polygamous in nature. When a woman cheats, all hell let loose and she's called all sort of names and she's even thrown out of her matrimonial home.
Ini Edo,its time to move on babes. Life must surely go on!
A fvck material rather than a wifey material? time to move on unto birds of dsame feather, abi? SMH for women alwayz competing with gurlz
Aelusive: Fenerbahce star, Emmanuel Emenike has told AfricanFootball.com he is prepared to stay out of the Super Eagles if coach Stephen Keshi believed he is the problem of the team.
Keshi has been quoted as saying he is unhappy with the AFCON 2013 top scorer, who he sensationally benched in last month’s AFCON qualifier against Congo in Calabar.
However, Emenike says he has utmost respect for Keshi.
“I have always treated Keshi like a father, and he has always lived in my heart to be a good father. Before now, we have been enjoying a smooth relationship and I see no reason why he should be holding grudges against me.”
“Keshi is a good coach, a coach with high pedigree. I give him all the respect I can give my father whenever I come for a national assignment.
“Everything changed after the Nations Cup, everything about him towards me changed and I decided to stay on my own,” he further revealed.
“But I am very surprised by what he said that he and some players in the Eagles are not happy with me. Over what?
“I don’t want Nigerians to see me as being proud or arrogant, but if the coach thought inviting me to his team will not bring result or peace to the team, he can let me be.
“I have maintained a solid relationship to avoid quarreling with him, but if my invitation to play for Nigeria does not stand for peace, I will like to stay focused with my club,” Emenike said.
He added: “I have always loved to give my best for Nigeria and I always make it known that I can always fight to score goals for my country and I will not like coach Keshi to let Nigerians see me as an indisciplined player who is not ready to give them my best again.
“My Super Eagles career is as important as my club career. Coming to play for Nigeria was the biggest decision I have ever made in my life. And I appreciate the way the fans have been striving hard to cheer me up whenever I push for goal.”
He stated that: “I have never seen the Super Eagles camp as my father’s house, it’s a temporary place for everybody, and why should we be making problems for ourselves? he asked.
“If Keshi thought inviting me is a problem to his selection or the team, I will prefer to stay back and maintain my big respect for him”.

Am yet to hear Keshi criticize Mikel. Wen he does, i'll start seeing substance in what he says. Mtchewwww...
Who let Ebola into Nigeria and exposed us to Ebola?
Who to Nigerians that Nigeria was ready for ebola with vaccines?
The same scumbags claiming credit for what they didn't do...
Who engaged the services of the health workers and did pay them.
The issue is that wen GeJ claims the success in ebola containment, does he claim so for his personal pocket or on behalf of Nigerians.
I can remember he said that the success was registered because nigeria united against it, and went a step further to let d world know that if we unite against bokoharam as we did against ebola, bokoharam will be a thing of the past.
Wen d president talks, he speaks on behalf of nigeria. The fact that he's a pdp member shouldnt be a reason for the apc warriors to twist every word that comes from him.
For me, Fashola should look beyond politics and see the office of the president for what it truly is ( A nigerian representative, rather than a pdp representative) Thank you!
Ngwakwe: Indefinite detention without trial of alleged terror suspects at Gitanamo Bay in far away Cuba is justified by US Army
The famous water-boarding and other unexposed US military brutality and inhumanity were nicknamed Enhanced Interrogation Techniques
May be they thought the world accepted theirs as "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" and our as torture to give them the licence to frustrate any attempt at eliminating Bokoharam.
American Wonders
Don't forget Obama and Hilary Clinton's Administration refused to proscribe Bokoharam when FG made a personate appeal for that to help us track down their finances and other international connections instead they told us that hunger was the root cause of Bokoharam.
Today they are playing all forms of International and diplomatic politics to frustrate the war on Bokoharam terror.
May be US agrees with el-Rufai who refers to our Military as Jonathanian Army.
When I stated that Amnesty International was playing the pipers tunes to justify US and British sabotage, some abuse and insulted me now what are you seeing?
May be Bokoharam is a US based agenda to divide Nigeria. U know wat it means for their prophesy to fall flat?
Their target? The newly discovered oil wells in chad basin. Hmmm.... 2015 in their mind.
banki: Am sure you know you didn't just make sense sometimes its ok to shut up....
There are laws that guide the movement of cash if the money wasn't being smuggled why was it not declared......? there are laws that guide arms purchases.... if it wasn't illegal why was it not followed?
U're right, bt I read from d above write up dat such laws was boycotted coz of the urgency of d need.
From d write up, I also deduced dat d deal was handled by d security chiefs, hence d reason for their been consulted to find out wat went wrong.
The sensitive nature of our nations security demands some people been boycotted in some security issues to limit sabotage.
The Purchase law cant be dsame in every country and can be more delayed in some countries.
The issue here is that some of us are trying to pre empt those at the helm of affairs, rather than deal with the objectivity of the article before of us. OUR PSYCHE NEEDS TO BE RIGHT TO GET THINGS RIGHT!
