I subscribed for the new MTN data plan. 2000 naira for 3.75gb. The first day it worked fine all day and I was glad that at last I have found a good data plan that suits me and my pocket fine. Before I knew what was happening, my data only worked at night so I decided to investigate and found out it only worked like a night plan. Can you imagine? Anyway I called their customer service and the first day the man denied and said they only have issues with iPhone users not android users which to me doesn't make sense but anyway that I should do a hard reset and bla bla. This morning I tried browsing with my MTN sim and it didn't work so I called them again. A lady called Gladys picked up and she was helpful. She actually accepted they had issues and we're working on it but this is over a week now and I paid money for services I'm not receiving. I use my MTN number to receive business calls and I can't get rid of this number. I don't know how to revenge to them but I'm going to borrow the highest amount from them which is 3000 and port to another network. I don't need their stupid credit I just want to hurt them. It's not by force to run a mobile network if you are not capable. Thank God Etisalat has rolled out new data services, I don't care if MTN rolls out a new data service that is double the jolly, they can **** off. |

But the plan works just fine for me, I have been using it since last week and have never experienced any issue both day and night. And it also does not drain like Airtel 3 Likes |

TDonald: Right now I'm using Etisalat 1GB. When it's night, I use the mtn. I don't even want to mention how many times these idiots have messed with my line, it's like they want my number so they want me to get frustrated and throw away the sim. Instead of that I will throw away the network and port. I don't mind having to Etisalat numbers. |

Can you imagine the cheek mtn just did. I didn't even browse and the removed my 3gig plus data. No wahala, this is not a threat but if the find out one of their substation has burnt then that's what they get for messing with people's money. Op i don't understand your rant, mtn 3.5GB data is for 30 days and why is yours showing August and July. Well i must tell you many people have subscribed to mtn 3.5GB data @N2000 without any qualms. |

Dreamwaker:This happened to me like twice then... I've since ditched MTN... They will wipe your data like anything... Don't know what's wrong... I've since been using other network. |

twosquare: This is the second time. The first time, I overlooked it cos I thought maybe one of my nephews turned on my hotspot to download games on their ipad but this time I wasn't even using it as it wasn't browsing, I bought data on Etisalat this morning. I'm so done with them. |
