POSITION: STORE KEEPER (ONITSHA)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The store keeper has the responsibility of coordinating the warehouse operations in the Area office. The jobholder requires a high degree of mature judgment and exercise of extraordinary discretion. He/She work in tandem with general instructions received from the Area Sales Manager.

D[b]UTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:[/b]
 The jobholder will be responsible for safe keeping of stocks.
 The jobholder will be responsible for posting stock into Ebizframe software and ensure that there is no variance with physical stock.
 He/She will ensure supply of stock to customer on FIFO basis as approved by appropriate authorities and participate in monthly and quarterly stock taking.
 He/She will maintain good housekeeping practice in the warehouse and supervises store assistants.
 Ensure preparation of daily stock position, daily update of bin cards and report damaged products.
 Ensure warehouse documents are safe, secured and easily accessible and strict adherence to stock policy.
 Perform other related duties as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
 The jobholder must be inquisitive and numerically inclined.
 The jobholder must have good housekeeping skills and a good knowledge of the company stock policies and process.
 He/She must have the ability to carry out oral and written instructions.
 He/She must be physically and emotionally balanced
QUALIFICATION:
 Minimum of ND in social sciences or any related field from any reputable institution.
 Proficiency in the use of computers (Excel, Word, Power point& Outlook)
 Good interpersonal skills.
