you really want to enjoy data on MTN. You have to be on MTN pulse. In
order to get 1gb @ N500 you have to be on the pulse tariff plan.
Dial *406*1# to Migrate to pulse if you are not on pulse.
Once you have done that.
Dial *406*2# you'll see something like
1.500mb weekly deal
(100% deal zone)
Select 1. If you don't see the 100% it means
your Sim is not eligible.
To check your data bundle Balance dial

If it doesn't? How come I subscribed last Friday @5pm,checked my data balance at 7.05pm discovered that 700mb gone without any download, streaming or heavy browsing usage. Before God man I only visited NL within that period. Though received some notifications alert like BBM, whatsapp, telegram and Gmail, but I'm 100% certain those cannot accumulate to 700mb. Never, mind you I'm not new in Android usage. Anyway it's a warning sha.

Na you know oh.. Turn off background Data on your apps

I noticed that the speed of this plan is so weak that it can't play modern combat 5 on my device.

Useless plan. It says 1gb for 500 but in reality it's 500mb for 500.the remaining 500mb is in bonus acct. Which runs from 1am to 7am which most people don't get to use.
I subscribed to this plan & streamed a match for like 10mins max (1 full match is at most 1gb) only to wake up in the morning that my data has been exhausted. I used *559*63# to check my bonus acct & I had abt 880mb there plus another 300mb. That's more than 1gb in my bonus acct that I don't get to use.
