Old Trafford is currently being scoured by investigators and bomb disposal experts after a bomb was found in the in the North West Quadrant of the stadium. The bomb has been detonated in a controlled explosion by the British bomb disposal unit.Manchester United was supposed to play Bournemouth at the stadium but the match was called off after the discovery of the explosive. The Sir Alex Ferguson Stand and the Stretford End were evacuated about 30 minutes before the scheduled kickoff time of 3 p.m. local time (1400 GMT) after a suspicious package was found.
