SESSIONAL BREAK FOR PRE-DEGREE STUDENTS
The University had an enlarged Management meeting today Monday, 16th May, 2016 to review the unfortunate student unrest at the Bosso Campus on Friday, 14th May, 2016.
Based on the evidences on ground, the University has directed that all Pre-degree students of this University should proceed on break with effect from today Monday, 16th May, 2016 until further notice. Resumption date will be communicated later.
Consequent upon the above, Management also directed that:
(i) All Pre-degree students resident in the Hostel should vacate the hostel latest by 5pm today.
(ii) Any student found housing Pre-degree student(s) on the Campus after 5pm will face disciplinary action.
Furthermore, all squatters (irrespective of level) in the University hostels should leave latest by 5pm today.
It should be noted that the University will apply appropriate disciplinary action on any student found flouting the decision(s).
