The high cost of PMS is as a result of the umavailability and high cost of procuring the US dollars. As long as we are still an importing country with little or no product to export, this situation will continue till eternity.A good way of making petrol available at a cheap price is to refine locally. All our refineries are not working to capacity as at present. The private refineries granted licence have not started working.A short term solution is to legalise all the so called illegal refineries. The more they are, the more availabilty of fuel.Government should also regulate and monitor the quality of their products. In the end, more jobs, more cheap fuel will be our gain.

Where was NLC when workers were bn owed 6-9 months salary, when the senate were toying with projects in our budget, when our football is been run with reckless abandon, when the police/efcc were/are not obeying court orders etc.

Ajero faction was smart enough to read the hand writing on wall and toll that direction. They have been able to strike a salary increment negotiations deal and to be part of PPPRP regulatory board making them more relevant.

Yeah...the bolded is the way forward, Unlike other administrations that were doing everlasting turn around maintenance, this administration have put the refineries back on line. Things were getting better until we decided to sabotage ourselves by blowing up the lines supplying crude to the refineries in feb. It was fixed in april and we blew it again in may.

Even as we are suffering from the effects, we are still supporting the NDA thats making our lives miserable and polluting our environment by hiding their identities.

What we really need is for everyone to unite towards a common cause of moving naija forward. Enough with the hate and sabotage. If this administration is doing whats right (working refineries, no devaluation while still import dependent, anti corruption crusade) lets support it, if whats wrong (budget padding, social media bill, corruption) then lets stand against it.

This same court issued an injunction against the strike in 2012 and it was ignored and nothing happened, the order was even issued by the same man again. It's a black market purchased injunction and should be disregarded. When the court ordered the government to reverse the hike in electricity tariff and the government ignored nothing happened too. The government can simply choose which court order to obey, it will lead to anarchy and impunity.

Isn't it about time NLC suggest an alternative to government. To continue at the old price of fuel is to postpone the evil day and risk bankrupting Nigeria's economy! NLC turned a blind eye at years of misgorvenance and now screams blue murder at its consequence.
