NLC you are on your own. Your hired Agbero will not go far. Six months is nothing compared to wasted years of unaccounted "Fantastically Robety". Let's watch how this season film will end.

Who promised six months ?

And you believed?

Are you happy with inflation?

At the time occupied Nigeria in 2012, oil was above 100 usd per barrel compared to now that a barrel is less than 40 usd.
If the raw materials are cheap, the finished products should be cheap also...

Sometimes i wonder if this country will ever move forward from this present state. Surely, not with a dogheaded arrogant piloting the affairs of the state, without sympathy for the poor;constituting suffering without human conscience. It is so unfortunate that the change we wanted is only but a dream farfetched, waking up to meet reality of chaotic and devasting economy like this. It's a pity

God help us..

Nice move by labour, the price should be reverted.

see you have made my day.Lagos and Kano are not Nigeria that is why fashola did well in Lagos but fumble in serving Nigeria.Even with their propangada and blackmail, things are becoming worst that everybody(whether APC OR PDP) can agree that the economy is going down, our electricity generation is reducing while the electricity bill is increasing and inflation is all time high. This is what i have to say, nobody can stop nigerians fro saying the truth not even our yoruba Brothers.Thanks.

Personally, i dont think this is necessary now, let them suspend the strike, dialogue with Govt over minimum wage, and force the govt to give itself an ultimatum of when their will be reduction in prices. The country is struggling financially already, too many issues at the moment. strike will only worsen things.

Increament in minimum wage is what we need at the moment, the money will circulate if minimum wage is raised to something like 50.000 naira. You are half baked student, subsidy must go it makes no sense at the moment
your thought is one sided
Pls ask your self how many people are employed
Why will the Government increase electricity tariff and still remove subsidy?
Even if they increase the minimum wage do you think your 50,000 will have the same value with 18,000 in 3 years to come?

a government of the elite, by the elite, for the elite....

how can you call someone for a negotiation and you say, dont discuss reverting prices? who asked them to hike it in the first place? all issues should be placed on the table, not in the media. what an authoritarian government... undecided

in any case, its time we start thinking out of the box and stop being dependent on government. learn to be financially independent...

FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA. GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN. THE CALL, When America saw the killing in the north in 2011 just because GEJ won the presidential election, they predicted the disintegration of Nigeria in 2015 knowing that there would be another presidential election and GEJ will again win and the war will begin. 2015 came, they heard and interpreted the Dogs and Baboons soaking in blood statement. America got prepared, they waited in Ghana and observe the happenings the world tuned their ears listening for the sound of bombs and watched expecting the first attack. The "clock stood still" tension walked through the cities, terror became neighbours, everybody became a suspect. He remembered the prediction, he remembered the threat, he also remembered the action in 2011. He asked himself, is my political ambition worth the blood of any man? The phone resting on the table Results on cable Jega's voice not stable States still calling Results still coming Tension keep building Prediction drawing near Threat on alert. He remembered you!!!! Your importance to your family Your value to the society Your hope for the future. He thought of a way out of this impending secretly organised war. Just then, he picked his phone He dialled a number He said congratulations And: America's prediction failed Buhari's threat failed He uphold the peace He uphold ONE Nigeria The CALL wasn't because he lost The CALL was for you to live And YOU are still alive after 365days. Please, appreciate him and say .... THANK YOU SIR

No to subsidy. Nigerians have been duped for long enough. NLC you are on your own
Why will u walk out on minimum wage and be advocating for subsidy that places all our resources in a few hands
We have been paying subsidy for ages yet all we have gotten is increased fuel price, scarcity and economic sabotage.
God punish all of una !

This one doesnt know that subsidy hasnt been removed. Its not the reason for the present hike
Re: Why We Walked Out Of Meeting With Nigerian Govt – NLC by bemyguest(f): 2:49pm On May 18, 2016
Nlc should stop this nonsense and go back to dialogue with FG. A word is enough for the wise. Nigerians are no longer foolish. If not for their foolish strike in the past fuel would have been N30.00 a litre by now.

What are you saying?
Are you saying the Masses should suffer hardhardship because the Government has failed in it's responsibility to curb the excesses of a group of few Nigerians called 'Marketers'?

Are you saying the Canadian, U.K. and U.S. Government should as well cut down on welfare because the Agencies involved are corrupt?
Are you saying the U.S. Govt should stop giving free meals to elementary school children cos those responsible will selfishly keep back some for their families?
A Govt. that is out to fight corruption cannot get to the root of subsidy fraud and take necessary actions on those involved in fraud?
The Govt. can't eliminate corrupt practices among those responsible for keeping our borders?
Ok stop cooking for your Children since your maid steals meat.

When will Nigerians get smart and know that they are been deceived?
Re: Why We Walked Out Of Meeting With Nigerian Govt – NLC by Nobody: 3:12pm On May 18, 2016
The federal Government has a system problem due to Dictatorship tendencies. If FG were that Caring, It should have introduced the Palliatives first, and observe the impact on the Citizens before removing the subsidy and introducing the new fuel price. Remember Goodluck Jonathan understood this dynamics well thats why he recommended removing the subsidy in Parts, and also increased the fuel price in Parts too. He started with N120.00/litre.

You called another person "a half baked student" but lack the capacity to critically evaluate things, why didn't government increase the minimum wage first before removing fuel subsidy? They said they will deliberate on minimum wage in 6 months time, the cost of everything has crossed the stratosphere and is heading towards the mesosphere. Why are they always giving us excuses for failures, how do they think a family man is surviving with N18000 per month? Please for your information, government will never tell you the truth so don't die for them.

You see, that has always been the plague we individually share-self interests rather than national instersts. And my question comes like ths, how many people are working under government, that can inheret the so called minimum wage? what of those under private sectors, and students too?
