The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) is insistent that they will go along with the planned strike despite steps taken by the Government to penalize workers who participate in the strike.

Watch the Vice President of the NLC Amaechi Asugbuni on Channels TV today as he explained the reason for the strike.

He mentioned the removal of subsidy and improper application of the democratic due process as reasons for the action.

I'm sorry to say but after hearing this man speak, the NLC do not know what they are doing and are just striking for their own selfish reasons. even within, they are not united and i say that they have no alternative option to what the govt is proposing to end this crisis that we are going through.
