To avoid this, the pipe must be long to distant the gas can from the generator.

So far there is no leak ,no issue with hazard .
Same way if you have a leaking gasoline ,there is bound to be fire issue .

I wouldn't risk my gas can indoor. And that's why i will advice anyone going for this, to buy a long pipe with it.

Its a good product so far this precaution is in place.

Which is more economically viable between a #5000 worth of gas and petrol?Do you know the approximate duration for a given value of gas ,say 12kg gas cylinder fully filled with LPG, to be completely exhausted? A 12kg filled gas bottle will be completely exhausted in 5 - 6 days.

Though largely depends on your workload.
