pls friends, I am totally confused
I have hnd in welding & fabrication engineering but since I graduated, I have not gotten a job plus d discrimination against hnd..I am really tired.
I am having d taught of going for either pgd in mechanical engineering or going for bs.c in mathematics since I am very good in mathematics
though hv written jamb already but still very confused on what to do.
pls friends, I need ur advice to make d right choice.

Wait! You mean you wrote UTME again when you already have HND certificate? You seem uninformed and unenlightened. Whatever happens to DE?
I think you don't know your worth. There are discriminations, yes! but a lot of Higher Diploma holders are getting employed every now and then.
Where and how are you applying?

My advice:
Do whatever you feel is cool for you. Go to same people who adviced that you take UTME to further advice you.
But....if your HND CGPA is a very bad grade, then you may be on the right track.

instead of d second option....d most germane is having self-confidence.....i ve hnd holders working in correct places whereas BSC dey teach for primary or secondary schools.....nothing do u bro...I've a friend who started with ond, to hnd, to pgd, to msc and now a phd student for u.i

PGD is a better option if you intend to go for M.Eng immediately, rather than spend five year on B.Eng, you can do ur PGD and even obtain M.Eng within that period. What I know about engineering is that, it's not so much about the certificate but what you can actually do. I wish you the best!
