ABUJA - AT least 106
workers of University Staff schools in the country have been allegedly sacked by the
Federal Government, while another 76 members from the
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Osun State were also said to be on the waiting list
of government for sack.

Meanwhile, the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, University of Abuja chapter has accused the management of the university for engaging "illegally" over 200 staff without following the
due process of employment.

This hint was disclosed
yesterday at the SSANU's ongoing NEC meeting at the Michael Imoudu National Institute for a labour Studies, MINILS, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The Deputy President of SSANU, Comrade Moses Adeniyi-Aogo, who represented the President of the association, Comrade
Samson Ugwoke said that the staff of university staff
school at the OAU may be given the way out by next month by the Federal Government.
