Unknown gunmen Thursday attacked the police C Division located in Northbank area of Makurdi, the Benue State capital and shot the Divisional police Officer (DPO) of the station and his orderly. According to reports, the gunmen attacked at about 11pm and opened fire on the DPO and one other policeman thought to be his orderly.
