the name Yahweh (Latin: Iehova) was mentioned in the bible more times than you can comprehend, but Jewish rabbis and spiritual leaders deemed It highly disrespectful to address God by his personal name.. that's why they adopted Lord as a title in addressing Yahweh and this tradition was later adopted by the Christian sect that sprang out of Judaism. for you information, the clause "I am that I am" is what YHWH (the holy tetragrammations pronounced as Yahweh) means in English

Exactly! A lot of people are still understanding God and His ways pertaining to Israel. He made it clear that if they depart from his ordinance, He will also abandone them to the sufferings and vengeance in the hands of their adversaries; and thats what has been happening since time immemorial - from the 2nd World War till date. Even as God will always keep His side of the convenant and ensure the security of Israel when threatens, so too He will also purnish and deliver them into the hands of their enemies, for their iniquities and violation of the convenant. For He is also a God of justice!
