FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s technical adviser, Mitko Dobrev, has been handed a whopping N100 million war chest to rejuvenate the team during the mid-season break. This is one of the major steps taken by the management of the club to keep the team on track towards the realization of the set objectives this season – top of which is winning the league or a continental ticket at the very least.

The Bulgarian has been given the approval and necessary financial backing to hire top quality players to strengthen the weak departments in the team after a review of the team’s performance in the first stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) season.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah is also billed to play some high-profile international friendly matches during the break. Top on the card is a planned friendly game with English Premier League side, West Ham United FC next week Sunday. Further arrangements are being finalised for another friendly match against a top Chinese Super League side.
