Drake and Rihanna are just friends with benefits. At least that is the picture that the Toronto rapper is painting when asked about the Bajan songstress during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show on Wednesday.

The pair have been rumored to be dating for a few months now following their hugely success collaborative single “Work.”

We’re “just friends,” Drake told Ellen before a video played on the screen behind them showing Rihanna grinding on the rapper on stage.

“That’s friendship at its finest,” Drake added. Drake performed and host Saturday Night Live last weekend and it was hilarious.

The Young Money rapper opened up about the show saying that it was an incredible experience. “It’s one of the most intense talent gauntlets I’ve ever been put through,” he said.

“It really is something you only understand if you’ve experienced it.”

Drake’s new album Views is currently out now and is already certified platinum after selling more than a million copies in the first week.
