Last week I wanted to pay for Google Developer Account so I can be able to publish a new app I have been working on for so long. After registering for the account and it's time to make payment, I used GTbank, Zenith Bank, FCMB Debit and Credit Cards without any avail. I decide to check through online with google search and I discovered that there is no single post here in Nairaland addressing that issue.

try and use PayPal if available. it's safer and faster than Google checkout

in paypal ng, all your naira on debit cards or creditcards will be charged based on bank exchange and extra charges

I've accepted you on BBM

People just come on threads as wannabes to show they know stuff. Anybody who knows, would know the only option is through google. From my correspondence with google, they charge in dollars but our banks have put a restriction on paying the naira equivalent of the merchant(Google) preferred currency. The only options are to use a dollar card from a domiciliary account or payoneer card if you have one.
