I'm a nigerian currently studying medicine in Ghana, I'm hoping to specialise probably in internal medicine and do a subspecialty in endocrinology...probably. Please I need advice as to good countries to apply to where foreigners have a fair chance of getting into a residency program, what the process entails and anyone who's been through the application process or has actually done their residency somewhere, kindly share your experience.

Come and do it in Nigeria

Better stay back there in Ghana. We are so many jostling for few openings here. Some have had their primary expire while jostling to find space. I have been on it for a while now but yet to be successful. Luckily I have both national and West Africa. U have better opportunity there. Best still if u can move to the states or Canada. My prayer has always been National Hospital Abuja. But who do I know. That's what matters here.
