Moringa oleifera is a tree plant with numerous health benefits. Due to little or no information about these benefits, the medicinal properties of Moringa, which has been termed a miracle tree, are largely untapped.

Moringa oleifera is highly nutritious comprising vitamins A, B, C, D and E as well as minerals required by the body for proper functioning.

Large quantities of protein, iron and calcium are also present in Moringa leaf. It is estimated that Moringa leaf contains twice the value of calcium present in milk.

Apart from this nutritional value, below are five (5) health benefits of Moringa oleifera.

1. Lowers Blood Sugar

Moringa oleifera has been shown to reduce blood sugar as far as 21%. The plant is therefore good for those at risk of diabetes.
